In Haven Ridge, there is an exciting month-long fishing event until November 30th. Participants have a chance to win big in multiple categories:

  • Grand Prize for Largest Lava and Saltwater Fish (Combined Length): 2000 COTO's, 200k Gold, Shroud of the Avatar Video Game Box Set (SEALED), Gold Fishing Trophy.

  • Largest Lava Fish: 1,000 COTO's, 100,000 Gold, Silver Fishing Trophy.

  • Largest Saltwater Fish: 500 COTO's, 50,000 Gold, Bronze Fishing Trophy.

Lots of Silent Hill Planned for the Future

Konami revealed plans for multiple projects in the Silent Hill franchise, including remakes and new entries. No specific titles were mentioned, but potential candidates for visual overhaul include the original 1999 Silent Hill, Silent Hill 3, and Silent Hill 4: The Room. Bloober Team's Silent Hill 2 remake is in progress with no confirmed release date. Konami also announced future titles like METAL GEAR SOLID: MASTER COLLECTION Vol.1, Momotaro Dentetsu World, Super Crazy Rhythm Castle, and CYGNI: All Guns Blazing. Additionally, they'll launch SILENT HILL: Ascension, an interactive streaming series. Further details are pending clarification from Konami.

The Last of Us Season 2’s 2024 Release Confirmed

Production for The Last of Us Season 2 is set for early 2024, as announced during HBO's recent press junket. Strikes by WGA and ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike caused delays. The start date depends on the actors' strike resolution. Season 2 isn't expected before 2025. House of the Dragon Season 2 arrives in early Summer 2024, with a new Game of Thrones spin-off in production next year. The Last of Us, based on Naughty Dog's game, debuted in January 2023, leading to a swift Season 2 greenlight. Starring Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey, Season 2 introduces Abby, a central character from The Last of Us: Part II, known for her controversial role. Naughty Dog has paused The Last of Us multiplayer game, and talk of The Last of Us: Part III still needs to be confirmed.

Cities: Skylines 2 Gets First Post-Launch Repair Job

Colossal Order CEO Mariina Hallikainen acknowledges the rocky launch of Cities: Skylines 2. She assures players that the team is actively addressing the technical issues. Recently, a patch was deployed, substantially improving game performance. This update focused on refining the game's level of detail settings, balancing visual fidelity and performance efficiency. Hallikainen humorously references a minor controversy regarding the rendering of citizens' teeth, highlighting the team's attention to detail.

Baldur’s Gate’s Inclusive Patch 4

Baldur's Gate 3 introduces a slew of improvements in Patch #4. Notably, adventurers can now utilize sponges and soaps to clean up grime, blood, and stains from their party members. Scratch's fetch ability now applies universally. Guards won't detect invisible assailants. Customization options for recruits are available. A color-blind mode addressing various types of color blindness enhances accessibility. Dead avatars can be sent to Withers' Wardrobe. Payday 3 Gets First Post-Launch Repair Job

After multiple delays, Starbreeze Studios released the first patch for Payday 3, addressing critical bugs and quality-of-life enhancements. This update offers pre-order and Edition-specific items for all players. Crashes during radio responses, premature vaulting, and explosions have been resolved. Starbreeze plans further Skill adjustments in the next patch, focusing on Last Man Standing and Armor Up. Health improvements will be gradual over the first year of updates. Stay tuned for the upcoming paid DLC, "Syntax Error," arriving in December.

To snag these, create a free Epic account and activate two-factor authentication. You have a week to claim the free games. Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion is available until November 9. Originally, FIST: Forged in Shadow Torch was planned, but plans changed. Starting November 9, get Golden Light, a survival horror FPS with co-op and competitive play.
